Cycle Safety Reflection
At the start of term 3, in late July we had some people come and do some year 6 cycle safety!
We got told how to ride on the road, where to cycle, how to be safe on our bikes, how to get on our bikes the right way, how to cross a cross intersection, how to cross a T intersection, how to turn properly, how to use hand signals to tell everyone that I was going to turn or stop.
I loved it, because it made me feel more confident on a bike and that I had finally learned how to ride on the road, safely and happily. The other reason I loved it was cause I learned new fun things, like how to cross a T intersection.
If I could change something, I would change how I wasn't able to bring my own bike, that the bike I was using kept on not breaking and that it made me crash into other people 😞 and how the other's wouldn't listen to my ideas 😑☹️. ( Apart from Rosara and Lacey 😮)
I thought that the experience was amazing! If I could, I would do it again, because it made me feel comfortable and that everyone was supporting me! ( and that my instructor didn't get frustrated when I couldn't understand)
I was Respectful towards my teacher.
I used Resilience because I never gave up when something seemed really hard.
I am being Respectful by reflecting on my blog right now.
The only ones I did not show was Reciprocity and Resourcefulness.
