Ghosty Aladdin

 Heya bloggers. Recently we've been doing Aladdin rehearsals and we finished this week. Aladdin rehearsals was really fun and they were also stressful but they were worth it. ( I think ) 

I was in cast Tahi and our Aladdin was Jack J and our Jasmine was Sophia D. Our Babkak was Ava, Omar was Tayla Pou and our Kissime was Camryn. Our Sultan was Adam and our Jafar was Taylor. 

I was a agrabian and I was in the prince Prince Ali dance, Arabian Nights, One jump ahead ( I think ) and I was in the wedding procession and ending. Everyone has to do Arabian nights, the wedding and ending.

Steam table making thingie

 Howdy bloggers. Today for steam our task was to make a small table.

 The table would be 15 Cms or more of the ground and would be stable enough to hold at leats one text book. The materials used were ten sheets of news paper, one meter of tape and a ruler.

I was in a group with Lyla, Zoe R/Joe, Talia and Cameyn and we has 5 minutes to plan and discuss our ideas and 25 minutes to build our table. Our plan was to make the top part of the table the most sturdiest and we completed by adding many sturbalizers/poles under the table. We then finished by adding the legs to the top and stuck them together with our tape. We also checked the table using Lyla's phone. 

Our little table held one book successfully ( which was the expectation) but when the second one went on, it suddenly buckled and died :( . (Rip) But, overall, I think that me and the others did really well on the table structure and I think that the process was a victory. :D

Matariki print art :)

 Hey Bloggers

Throughout these last few weeks, we have been making Matariki art prints and today I finally finished mine. The art prints are really easy to make and they're also quite fun to do. In order to make a print you'll need to get a peace of foam and a piece of paper to practice your stars and mountains on. After you finish your practice copy, you can draw your mountains and stars on the foam. Then you can go and get a paint roller thingie and get some paint. You then roll the paint onto your foam and when your done with the painting part, go get a big sheet of paper and gently place the paper onto your foam and get a clean, new roller and roll on the sheet of parer and then after you roll for a while, you can lift the parer (GENTLY) of the foam. Now you put your parer somewhere safe and dry. Your foam is now complete and you just need it to dry. I think I did really well on mine and I really like it :)

( I don't have my picture right now buuuuuuut when it dries I will get a picture of it and I will put it on the blog post :3)

Egg parachute thing

 Howdy bloggers. Today we made a secure packaging with a egg somewhere in it. We then had to drop it on smoothed concrete and hope that it wouldn't crack. We used paper, card and tape to make our packaging thingie. We decided to make a cube shaped packaging. We named our egg Ray Erwin and in the end... he survived 😇. No I'm kidding, he died/cracked. I think that we did pretty good on the design because it held together and it didn't break apart.

Weather in Maori ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

 Hey peeps. Over these past few Fridays, we've been doing an animation on the weather. We had to go onto scratch, choose a sprite and start coding. I think that the coding part wasn't too hard since I already have made a few animations on scratch. Here is the link to the scratch animations. Have you ever done an animation before on scratch? Wainui camp mini comic strip

 Hey peeps! Not many of you know that Toroa hub just got back from Wainui camp last week. Wainui camp had ist ups and downs. My favorite memory at Wainui is when everyone had to gather around the camp fire and sing the camp fire song. My favorite song what the " NO BANANA NO" song. My least favorite memory is when I fell out of my Kayake, flipped it, unflipped it, then forgot all about my paddle whivh was slowly floating out to sea, went to retrieve it, almost drowned in the process, then had to put the stupid paddle on my friends kayake to save myself and get back onto the kayake. But apart from that, my time there at Wainui was amazing!!! When we got back, we had to do a bitable or something about what our favorite memory's at Wainui were. I chose to do a comic strip with one of my friends. I think I did pretty well on my comic strip. I really hope you enjoy my (HANDRAWN) drawings. ( MY POOR POOR FINGERS 😢😭) Here is the picture!
